From a normal circle, the Lady "rolls" to the left in front of the Man ("belly to belly") and then back out into the circle, turning a full 360 degrees to end on the other side. If circling, Man stops circling, and takes a step back and then forward again after the lady has passed.



Half Sashay
Start: Couple
Timing: takes 4 beats of music
No turning. Right-Hand dancer steps forward and to the left while the Left-Hand dancer steps backward and the right. Both dancers align themselves to end side by side as a couple. From ....
- a normal couple: Lady goes in front of Man (ends as half-sashayed couple)
- a half-sashayed couple: Man goes in front of Lady (ends as normal couple)
