Issues with Safari browser

Apparently the Safari browser has some issues with drop-down menus. If you are using an iPad, iPod, or perhaps a Mac, you may not be able to access some menu items. Until Safari releases a version that fixes this problem, visit the Site Map page which will allow you to access pages without using the drop-down menus.

Preamble

I created this website to help with the  large number of new dancers this season. Last year I tried to keep track of dancers by noting which nights they missed, who was having difficulty with what move, etc.  However with so many new dancers this year, it's going to be hard for me to keep track of all of you individually. So, I NEED YOU to help me out by checking out what you missed, determining what help you need, etc. Hopefully this website will help you review what we've covered in past weeks and what's coming down the line for the upcoming weeks.

This is a work in progress. Let me know what I can do on this site to help you.

Need Help?

I'm here for you. If you need help, here are some strategies.

  • If you missed a week
    • Look up the moves that were done in that week so you can be better prepared when you return.
    • Come early the next week so I can work with you (we start arriving at 7:00 pm). Perhaps email me so that I'm better prepared.
  • If you know that you will be away for any week, you can look up what is planned for that week. By checking out the moves on the web, you can prepare yourself for when you return.
  • If you're having difficulty with a move or just generally:
    • Get up in a front square so that I can see any problems. I can then stop/review/re-teach or simply add more reinforcement for a move.
    • Shout out if you want something repeated. I'm happy to do that because I'm here to see that you have success (and fun too).
    • Ask an Angel during the break. Sometimes they have a different way of thinking about a move that works for them; perhaps it will work better for you
    • Come up immediately after the tip to ask. Sometimes you can keep your square together for me to workshop the move with the square.
    • Come early the next week for general practice.
